You called me the same thing in that PM you sent me. I am not against you in any way G-MONEY, I was only mad at you because of your "putting people down because your system is so awesome" comments. If you stop those then I will be fine with you. To be mature, you don't have to say sir or good day or even capitalize your sentences. Alright. I see. Im not trying to be mature by writing properly, i thnk it makes the post look nicer! I did compare mine a couple times I'll admit. But in the end it does not realy make a difference. Well this is over now.

My question is, why is my 3Dmark05 score the lowest out of everyone's? Is it my processor? 2GHZ sucks, would a 3800+ AMD bring it up a bit?

Yes, as much as a 3500+ AMD would.

Are you implying that a 3500 is just as good as a 3800, or that neither will make much difference?

I just haven't been able to get a definitive answer concerning the CPU and this game. I clearly am about 25% lower on the 3dMark scores with my setup than those with better processors and the same hardware otherwise. They also seem to be getting a better FPS than me by almost 100% on Average.

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3000+
GPU: XFX GF 6800GT
RAM: 2 GB @ 333 MHz
Settings: 1280x1024, all on high except shadows and lighting on medium, 2X AA
FPS: 40-100 with occasional dips into the 30s on 64 player servers

yeah, cept im running a P4 2.8 and only 1gig but its very solid 50-100....some 40's on 64player servers with everything going to hell infront of me.

Everything on high except for lighting (medium) 2X AA 1280x1024

I don't understand what my problem is, I have 2GB of ram and I barely get 30fps on 32-player maps. I have done every tweak etc, that I can find on this and other forums and I still am getting crap scores on 3dMark (4131) and crap fps in BF2.:cry:

For those with this setup I would like to know your FPS and the processor you're using when running the 6800GT and 2GB of Ram on high settings.

Me? I am getting 15-25fps on 64 player maps with everything on high except texture filtering on medium and AA on 2x.

PS: This is to help determine if my CPU/mobo (2ghz P4) is not up to par (without having people telling me that won't make a difference).

i get around 30-70 fps on 64 player servers, when i get another gig of ram, hopefully it will be around 60 and higher fps. specs in sig.

It is as good as 3800+, no need to get better than 3500+. Just a waste of money.
