Try more ram. I use a 6600GT and I run much higher settings @ 35-55FPS, depending on server. (I'm ballparking the FPS, since i'm too lazy to measure, but I know its above 35 FPS)

but the geforce 6 series and x series were a huge advancement in technology


the was little difference between a geforce 5 5900
and a 9700 pro which was the gen before
maybe 20% at best

i doubt we can expect such a leap this time looks to be around 1/3 to 1/2

Um, read about the thing before that, as in read my whole post. Here's what i mean current gen(X series, 6 series) is over triple performance than last gen(9series, FX series). Next Gen (7 series, R series) are only 30% better or so than current gen.
