I have an Aspire case with a 420 Watt PSU from them, and all I can say is primo! My 12v rail is always at about 11.89 which is really good.
11.89 on idle or load? Cuz if that's on idle then it's not that great.... it's alright. Anyways, I've read countless posts and complaints to stay away from Aspire's PSUs. I never had one personally but after reading about em... I'll make sure to never buy one.
Well what's the load? I'm not saying it's bad... my current PSU is about 11.80... but I'd want it to be at least closer to 12. My system isn't that power-hungry right now anyways, but on a high-end system.... my PSU would die probably.
5 case fans (4 80mm, 1 120mm)
2 HD
X850XT PE
P4 3.4
1GB (soon to be 2GB) of DDR2-677
CD-RW/DVD-ROM
Joystick
Camera
Blah, blah, blah
So considering that, its nice to be within 5%, as for on load, I'm not sure. I have never run Everest and BF2 at the same time, but it doesn't dip that much.
