For peole that know a sufficient amount about PSU (actually look farther than the pure wattage rating) i have a question about the +12v rails. WOuld a PSU with Dual +12v rails rated at 17 amps each be good? Cause i'm wondering if it's better than buyin a PSU with only one +12v rail rated at 26 amps. I have to replace my bad 450 watt psu that has one +12v rail rated at 16 amps.

I don't know about dual rails, but I have a single rail with an 18A 12V rail and I heard that is a preety good number :)

Seperate 12v rails is better than 1 unified 12v rail... in most cases that is. 2 12v rails @ 17amps each is same as 1 12v rail @ 34A. So it's actually enough for an SLi system. Some PSUs have 3 and even 4 12v rails.
While were on the topic, OCZ will be releasing a new Modstream with seperate 12v rails and there will be a switch to unify them. So it'll be best of both worlds.

Seperating the +12 volts into 2 rails is similar to having 2 AC outlets fed by 2 separate breakers. You split the power load between two +12 volt rails located inside the power supply. Half of the +12 volt connectors are on one rail and half are on another. This method is just a more efficient method of delivering +12 VDC power from power supply.

Ok, as i thought, just needed to be sure, which one outta these two are better though.
OR
THe first one has 20 more watts, but has 15 amps on one rail, and 17 on the other, the second one is 9 bucks more expensive, less watts, but has 17 amps on both rails, what's better, these seem like good power supplies, but whats your take.

Between the two I would select the TP II 430. The main difference is an extra connector on the 430 and the Transient Response (this causes the PSU to recover from sudden power demands) is excellent at 3%.
The 450 allows for a larger tollerance of 5% which is cutting it close in my book. Both are good but I think the 430 will outlast the 450 and perhaps offer more stability.
