This sounds like a "fan boy" statement but it is in no way. Get an Nvidia card. That way the chipset and video card will be the same. If you don't you're giving up a performance boost, which is silly since Nvidia and ATI are basically on par with eachother.

I used to have a Nforce 3 chipset coupled with a x800xt pe and in no way did the chipset hold back my video card just b/c it was nvidia. If you think I'm wrong, then I invite you to find a website (other than nvidia's) that will state so.

ill give u a 5 cause u have a good system there its toped up nicly just missing some ram. and because of the choice of ATI

7800GTX. The X850XTPE is a great card (I have one). But the 7800GTX has more pipelines. Also as I said before Nvidia+Nvidia = performance boost. If you're not looking for an SLi board, then go ahead and get the ATI Xpress chipset.

I didn't say it would hold the card back, but the fact is if you match the chipset and the video card makers, it gives a performance boost to that card (aka it will preform slightly better then if the card wasn't paired with that mobo).

link? It may appear that way, but it's only because the Nforce boards are usually the fastest on the market.

It's a middle of the road PC, nice build.
