I don't think you can play on 2 monitors unless there's some like software or program that makes that possible. Or you just hack into the files in do that, but don't ask me, i can't hack, i only build computers, i don't program at all.

Your video card comes with a VGA adapter. You hook the 2nd monitor up to that then to the back of the video card.

Or if you have Dual DVI then you do that too, i have one DVI and one VGA, i have to do a DVI-VGA adapter to have dual monitor support, but now i run on one DVI monitior.

Yes to my knowlege there currently is no way to run BF2 on two monitors. I could be wrong though.

                    Re: Dual Monitors

Your 2nd monitor could have a browser or ATC running or something like that... but that's about it. There is no native dual monitor support for BF2.

i.e. you cannot have your action on one monitor and the game's full screen map on another, or you cannot split up your first person view amonst multiple monitors giving you a wider FOV.

But think about how cool that would be for commander mode and squad leaders. A viewable map and you can still shoot people... Think of the insanity

                        Re: Dual Monitors

Think of the disadvantage to the player without dual monitors.

                        It'll never happen.

I'd LOVE to see dual monitor support in my games...I have a few extra monitors kicking around that I'd like to use

                          Re: Dual Monitors

This is why they make high video games though. No high end games=no high end hardware.
I agree though it would never happen. There would be too many issues involved and less people would play because of it:)

Hey...I cannot WAIT for the day for either 'surround goggles' or 'surround monitors' (that people can actually afford).

Come to think of it dual monitors in a game will put stress ont he video card. Unless you have a high end card like i have then i suggest you dont run dual.
