How will bf2 run on this???

I will be trying to run bf2 on-

2.80 ghz pentium4 proccesor
512 mb ram
ATI radeon 9550 128 mb ram.

so what will i be getting? low? medium?

i won't be playing high, i already know that.

You will be able to play on low for sure :) As for medium...maybe a few settings, but thats all. You should upgrade your graphics card for sure and then your memory after that. Good luck!

I'd say all low for best performance. You probably could run some on medium, but with 512mb ram and a low end video card, you will probably more happy on low settings.

FOr around 150 bucks, go for the 6600GT or the X800 vanilla. The 6600GT has insane clock speeds but has only 8 pipelines, the X800 has 12 pipelines, it's 155 bucks on newegg.com. Either is great, don't forget to upgrade ram, 512mb is not enough, in fact many people are saying 1GB is not enough nowadays.

yeah, if you only have $150 to spend, I would upgrade the RAM before the video card, then upgrade the video card in a couple of months.

i think you can find a x800gt for $150

better than the 6600gt
