Re: Best USB headset?
I got a plantronics dsp 500 and it sounds awesome but the sound placement sucks. I have the head phones on the right ears and if a guy is shooting on my right side it sounds as if he's shooting on my left side.

Re: Best USB headset?
Yes. I have the same headset for about a month now and am very pleased with it. It's a good option if you have a crappy built-in soundcard with low mic levels like me. The Plantronics DSP 500 essentially has its own built in sound card which works very well for me.Originally posted by JoeBannonIs it USB?

Re: Best USB headset?
I have the Tritton Audio Thunder, which is a true 5.1 surround sound headset. http://www.trittontechnologies.com/p...s/TRIUA501.htm
The sound on it is great, but the driver support could be better. It doesn't like to be in a system with an Audigy card, for instance. And it doesn't seem to work with BF2 VOIP (though some have said that it does).
