    Help a brother out

Not sure exactly were this should go, so move if needed.

Anyway, recently I've been looking into laptops. I wouldn't want a new desktop because I want to be able to take this thing around with me. I've looked at HP, Dell, etc. and the only ones that are in my price range, either are just...kinda crappy, or their graphics card is crap.

But a few minutes ago, I found out about this guy. Just enter 't2a 6h7' as the postal code, and you can view it. Not bad, just wondering if the card's decent?

the card is integrated, i dont think its good, it probally wont run bf2, and it will probally run hl2 on all low, if it can at all.

You will probably have to shop from a vender like alienware or voodoo in order to get one with a replaceable video card to allow for upgrades in the future.

Ah, okay. So from what I'm hearing, I can't swap an intergrated card eh? I've started looking through Alienwares site, and although I haven't been looking long, their cards are Intel Extreme Graphics 2. 64MB's of pure...something

Shizit. I can't afford one of the nice Alienware/Voodoo laptops either. This is crap...

Thats the problem with Laptops, if ya want something thats close to a desktops performance you got to be rich. Hopefully in a few years laptops will run equal with their desktop brothers. Until they do i'm gonna stick with my tower

Okay, I've looked into a desktop, how's this:

                    3.2GHz Pentium 4 Processor 640
                    1 GB RAM
                    128MB ATI Radeon X600 SE
                    160GB HD

I'd say that desktop should run BF2 on Medium settings pretty well.

Oh, I meant like...well I didn't mean High, heh. Mediums just fine for me, even if it is a couple of settings.
