gungho make sure you run the test with all settings turned down and make sure all drivers are correct and up to date.

With your system i would predict 3kish or more for score

also make sure you havent got any background programs runnin that shouldnt be! tis a major performance killer!

WOW, okay apparently the chipset drivers on my CD either didn't install or suck majorly.

My score almost TRIPPLED!!!

Not with an x600, 3000 would be impossible.

Lol, I got an 1750...yeah, I know, it's the video card. Dell will put an ATI Radeon 9800 256mb Mobility card in for free if I buy it from them for $400...I wish I could find another place to buy mobility cards. Oh yea, the 3dMark05 program drained 50% of my battery, lol.

Doh ! Didn't think about that. Tried changing some settings, running at the lowest resolution (320x200) the score is 2805. Man, last time I take hardware advice from my mate, should have come here. Time for a new vid. card ?
