    Headset problems with alienware

I recetly got a Logitech Premium PC gaming headset and when I plug the one of the jacks into the back of the computer, this thing shows up and ask what im connecting to the back. There are several options such as Stereo, Headphones, and mic. But it wont let it work with 2 in at a time. I totally confused. Any help is apreciated.

heres a link to the headset

That is weird. I can tell you for sure it isn't the headset. I have the same headset and I don't have any problems at all. My guess is it is the sound card. I will guess and say you have an Audigy2, as that happens with me sometimes.

There should be two jacks for the headset. Simply plug one in, tell the computer what you plugged in. After that plug in the second jack, and tell the computer what that was for.

Look in your Windows sound settings...make sure the mic is not muted :)
