BF2 lock up issue

I just got my X800XL 256mb AGP card today. After installing it on a clean install of windows, I began playing BF2. After about half an hour of on line play the game will begin to lag so badly I cant even move or look in a different direction. I think it may be a driver issue or it could be a power issue. I am using the 5.8 drivers and I have tried the 5.6 as well. My PSU is a 400 antec with a good output level and all that stuff. The rest of my specs are as follows:
Mobo: MSI K8N Neo-2 platinum
A64 3200+
2 gigs OCZ DDR 400 ram
200 SATA HDD
X800XL AGP
Sound Blaster X-Fi

O/S: XP Pro

I am running everything on high @1600x1200 @ 85hrz refresh rate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would try lowering some of your settings or the screen resolution defianately...

I dunno, the game runs great, around 50 to 60 FPS according to Fraps. I think it might have been my Aperature size, it was only set to 128 in the bios, I uped it to 256 just now, and I still need to test it. It will have to wait, I need rest and classes start tomorrow :)

Are you sure you have X-Fi? It just came out like a few days ago.

I'm waiting until they come down in price. Probably an Xmas gift as I will get the Fatal1ty version.
