and it's to not buy PSU just couse they look nice I bought me a MGE PSU like 2 weeks ago and it died on me today just after i hit corporal now i'm back on my Antec 350w PSU... Any one know any good 400W-500W psu for under $150??? and does anyone know if newegg will take this crap back and exchange it for a new one?

LOL, yeah, power supplies are one of those things you CANT slip on.

Antec and Enermax and OCZ are very very trusted. Anything else AVIOD.

Tagan are also a very solid manufacturer, and I agree, NEVER cut corners when it comes to power supply units, always get a powerful and solid unit whatever it looks like. :)

i am a antec fan so i would get the antec, and for 10 bucks more u can get the antec 480w.

Any of the bigger name manufactures. As far as returns, you'd have to check the return policy on your item, it may still be under Waruntee, and you maybe able to RMA it for money back, it all depends.

And yes, never cheap out on a PSU. You can get good PSUs that look cool for a decent price, infact I'm looking at buying this one:

Antec Neopower or TruePower, Thermaltake, or OCZ. Good choices come from good research, try Newegg's review feature, and don't be suckered into buying some $50 600-watt PoS.
