hey, i have a quick question to the BF2 community. how great is BF2? i mean i really want to get it but if it isnt that great ill wait for the price to drop

i have played the demo, its pretty good, but it only last 10 minutes, so that dosent let u get too far into the game, thx for responding to my post:)

oh, well i think ill have to wait awhile to get bf2, my pa took out my radeon 9800 and put in a media accelerator until i get my grades up:cry:

There is a way to remove the time limit and increase tickets if you want longer games in the demo, only works in SP though.

To hax the tickets edit the file gpm_cq.py in the C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2 Demo\mods\bf2\python\game\gamemodes\ folder.
Find the line

def calcStartTickets(mapDefaultTickets):
return int(mapDefaultTickets * (bf2.serverSettings.getTicketRatio() / 100.0))

Change the 100 to 20 and save it.
This will give you 1000 tickets and unlimited time, singleplayer only though but it lets you have good battles with the enemy AI on hardest. I wasted whole nights on the demo with these changes. :p
