Computer Case Comparison, Need Help

After a day of looking for good cheap cases I narrowed it down to these two:
The Raidmax Astro and the Raidmax Storm. The storm is more roomy which I like, but Astro has two fans on the side.

Im not very experienced in cases and this is my first time building a comp. So which one is better to get?

Its in hardware o.O
this forum is active and filled with people knowledgable in these things so I decided to ask here :P

Any reason to why you like the storm better? I like it overall a bit better also.

But so far the only in stock version is Red and I dont want red =/

What do the 0.7mm and 0.8mm mean?
Is that how wide the metal is?
Also I plan to replace the PSU because after reading a lot of reviews, I dont want to put my new pc into the hands of a stock PSU.

The astro is nice and clean. You can always modify to create airflow like storm. Im also more of a NON gamercase gamer. The storm has a weird swirl on side i think kinda cheesy.

Both of those cases have bad airflow and come with an unnecessary PSU, maybe try another brand of case??

Lian-Li and Thermaltake both make great cases.

yes cheap case.
The storm is good enough. And yes im going to replace PSU.

Storm can hold 9x 80mm fans. I wouldnt worry about it overheating, newegg has nothing but good reviews on it.

I dont like Thermaltake because all of them have doors on the cd bays and stuff, I find that annoying and unnecesary, especially some have doors over the power button o.O

I decided to take the Storm. Now I gota decide wheather to buy from ebay at about same price but with the color I want, or wait till it ships to newegg and then buy it.

You may want to see if you can get a similar case from a local computer store and save the $20 shipping.

Also if you're on a budget and don't care how your computer looks you could get a really cheap computer without a power supply for real cheap. Right now I have probably one of the ugliest cases you've ever seen, but it was only $15 :)

I don't know how much you know but here are some tips I wish I had known when building my first computer. DONT skimp on the power supply. Get a power supply from a reputable manufacturer (you can look online for one). Also if you're not sure how much wattage you need you could go to http://www.extreme.outervision.com/index.jsp and use their calculator to determine what you need.

Also if you are planning on getting an expensive heatsink for your processor like a Zalman or something, I suggest you just go and get a liquid cooling kit. They will usually run you around $100~$150 for a okay one, but they perform a lot better than air cooling at only a slightly increased cost. 3 case fans x $15 + a good CPU Heatsink & fan combo for $50 is already around $100 and if you decide to throw in a after market VGA cooler thats another $30-$40.
