intel chipset drivers

does the drivers on intel.com is stricly only for intel motherboards?
can other motherboard from other manifacture (such as asus,abit,msi, etc) able to use the chipset drivers from the intel website?
and whats a good chipsetdriver for my Intel® 865PE Chipset?
can you guys give me a link or suggestion.

should be fine downloading the latest driver straight from the chipset manufacturer's website.

Only intel chipsets, it doesn't have to be made by intel.
