Good system, I'm not a big fan of GeiL though.

I see your point, and it IS good value for a 2GB dual channel kit and perhaps I am biased slightly because I like to OC stuff.

I'll move this to the hardware forum ...and stick it as long as it stays as an informative thread about BF2 playable full systems and not as a hardware fanboy thread like the other 5000 there.

G.Skill Ram is very good stuff. 1gb of DDR400 will ste you back about £70 from ocuk. It is rated as 6 3 3 2 out of the box but is very happy to run at 8 4 4 2.5 (with 2.75 volts) at DDR500.

All prices where taken from www.overclockers.co.uk

They dont show direct links to thier products so i didnt think it was worth it. But if more people ask i will put the links up .

I have a 60GB one, and its fine for me. I have alot of music and some games.

If you must have a big one just add a 120GB or 200GB HD for £50-80.

                          One other thing; I'd dump the Raptor abd replace it with 2 or even 3 Samsung SpinPoint P HD120IJ 120GB SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM (HD-022-SA) @ £57 inc VAT (from overclockers.co.uk).

The new Samsungs are faster then the Raptors, quieter and more reliable.

Now I know there is gonna be a people that won't believe the faster bit so...

                          Custom PC review

In testing with Raptor came in a full 10 seconds slower than the Samsung on Farcry level loading. Have to bear in mind the Raptor is yesterday's technology as far as SATA drives go.

I tend to lean towards Seagate harddrives, but that is just me
