What if refurb video card breaks?

I am thinking about purchasing this refurb x800xl:

I have purchased refurbed computers, etc in the past and had good luck. Will New Egg accept returns if a refurb item breaks? Has anyone had experience with New Egg refurbs and/or had to return one? Thanks

You better call newegg support and find out if they give you the cables also. OEM means barebone usually. And they usualy tell you accesories not included.

Look at the pics of the product to see if it comes with cables or not. If they show them, then it will surely come with cables ect...
You can send the card back to get a replacement or a refund for 15 days with a refurb and 30 with a normal at Newegg...

15 days is plenty for returning. Use common sense really, make sure you get all the cables and anything else advertised in the product. Test it thoroughly and make sure it is working as advertised.

Yeah, they do come with the cables.

but if it dies on the 16th day u are screwed. Even if you 'll get a warranty from ATI they probably will not replace it. My friend tried to replace his RETAIL card that was broken right when he bought it but they told him that he needed to pay them or something so he just bought another one.

this is what i do buy a card. screw around with it clock it to the max and do what i can then if it screws up ill returne it simple
