doesn't need to be a flame war, i'm sure most people with X800/50's would agree that with the 5.8's come's a great overall improvement compaired to the last drivers, the game is simply stunning for me anyways, dunno about the rest of you but I had missing textures and stuff with the 5.7's and thats all sorted now

So in summing up their good cards i'd recommend buying one..

I'm now tempted to move up to the 5.8's. I'm running the original drivers that came on my installation disk, don't even know what version. The thing is they're working fine and with this game being so god damned buggy I don't want to change anything.

well mate if it ain't broke don't fix it, if your happy enough leave it be.. I would say this though, I thought the game looked great with the 5.7's, it was a case of ignorance being bliss however i've noticed an improvement of at least 20fps over all with the 5.8's and that makes a massive difference to the smoothness of the game..

And I can get over 100 fps without messin with the lock junk, whenever I'm away from action and climbing up a ladder or somethin i can get 101 or 105.
