    Is 12ms a fast enough refresh rate for gaming?

      Yes....that's what I have. No ghosting. I hear anything under 16ms on an LCD is ok for gaming.

          I have an 8ms LCD myself and purchased it because I was informed and read that anything over 12 is bad. The lower the better, butter ELI has first hand experience and that's better than any opinions. You should be ok.
