Word to your motherboard....frustration!
Here is the deal...this is my first build and I am trying to decide on a motherboard. I have chose this Epox board:
Reasons:
I have read several positive reviews.
Seems to relatively forgiving to newbies.
Good overclocking potential.
Economical.
However, a user in this forum (Snake101) has repeatedly advised me not to get the board. I am wondering if others feel the same about this board? If there are common problems with this board could someone give me some references? I haven't seen anything on net disparaging the board.
I would appreciate any alternative recommendations that would be similar to this boards properties.
I am not really sold on the Sli thing, I want socket 939, and I want to eventually overclock. I have heard many people say good things about the DFI Lanparty but I have also heard this is not a good board for beginners. Thanks for putting up with my questions!! Peace!
