This seems like a good deal considering I need to buy BF2 as well. What do you think? Is eVGA a decent brand? Can these cards be overclocked similiar to the BFG brand? Is it difficult to overclock the card? Thanks!

Re: Overclocking 7800 gt
You shouldn't get a 7800GT, you should get a GTX. It has 24 pipelines compared to the 20 the GT has, and it has higher clock speeds. It theroretically is 20 percent better. This 7800GTX comes with BF2 bundle:
It's kinda expensive, but you need the game, there's also ones on newegg.com that are going for 480 bucks without BF2 aswell, but eVGA is a trusted brand.

Re: Overclocking 7800 gt
They're both good cards, you sacrifice 15-20 fps by getting a 7800 GT vs. the 7800 GTX, but then again you could just lower a setting here or there, I don't even run on full settings.

Re: Overclocking 7800 gt
If you're going to spend the money on a 7800GT, wait another week and save another $50 for the GTX. Its like idiots I see buying 1GB iPod shuffles when they could get a 6GB Mini for another $50.

why would u overclock a 7800GT , if u screw it up u just lost a whole lot of money. and it runs very nicely without it.
