Hi,

I am probably going to be building a computer within the next 10-12 months and I am not completely sure on what case to get. Although, the Thermaltake Tsunami really appeals to me, I am wondering if anyone else has it and how do you like it?

I dunno, that's like at least 100 bucks, i wouldn't waste too much money on a case. I got a nice steel case for my new comp. It came with a 450 watt powersupply. It was like 45 bucks after shipping and handling. It came with one LED fan on the side, and i added in a extra 120mm fan. It's good. But if you want good cooling, get one with at least 3 fans in it, theres one with 7 80mm fans, but it costs quite a bit.

I dunno, but it works great, i never replace PSUs, i mean there's not much difference, i mean Antec is better but still. I'm not going to spit up like 100 bucks for a nice PSU, I could buy a nice 1gb stick of memory for thaat price. 450 watts is enough, generic vs. name brand, not too much difference, at least not 60 bucks difference.

Cheaper brands tend to maniupulate their wattage numbers to make the look better. Also it's not the tatal wattage that matters. Better brand have much more stability than lesser brands. I think it's funny that ppl will spend top dollar on all their other components but will skimp on the PSU.

I wouldn't put that PSU in my gaming rig, but if your not planning on overclocking, or a power hungry video card I suppose that will do. That +12v amperage rating is aweful small though.

I am ignorant on the subject of PSU. Could you point out the difference between the Rosewill power supply and your OCZ Modstream? Do you recommend the Modstream PSU?

I have a PSU with a 19A 12V rating and it does me good

Yes OCZ makes good reliable PSUs.

I'd highly recommend an inexpensive case with alot room for fans, whether it comes with them or you have to buy them, as long as you can fit them. Don't buy a case with a PSU. Buy a seperate powersupply and make sure you get the right connectors and sufficient amperage on the 12v rail. Atleast 20 amps preferably more. You can get a decent case with 5 fans for cheap money less than $50 and then buy a good PSU.
