Well being ATI's latest chipset it's definitely a high end card. It may not beat a 7800GTX but it's definitely no slouch.

Are you probably going to buy it? If you are, i reccomend you don't. The X800XL is better unless you can flash the card to 16 pipes ( i doubt anybody could). Cause the X850Pro only has 12 pipelines, and the X800XL has 16 pipelines, nuff said. And for the spectrum of performance, i would say between a X800Pro and a X800XL, and for nVIdia, between a 6800 and a 6800GT.

Yeah, i got it almost 2 months ago, i just neglect to change my sig. And anyways, i usually don't get any lag at all, and i get 30-65 fps, all settings max, and 6xAA, as well as 1280x960 resolution. I run it great, no complaints at all.

also, x800xl is the way to go
