Shadow and texture problems fixed and listed in release notes.
There's also another thread somewhere about these too...

As far as I can tell, there are absolutely no differences. I guess we can hope that BF2 1.03 will fix it..

          Settings: 1152x870@85Hz - 4x AA - High Settings - Textures on Medium.
          Hardware: AMD64 3500+ - Sapphire X800 XT-PE - 2GB RAM

I bet the drivers in Storlied's link have a virus.

Use official links when you post drivers!

yea, why did you post a 3rd party link?
I can agree if you posted the driver heaven link since they were authorised to release a day early but now they are listed on ATI's website I see no reason for it.

There is a trojan horse built into the java downloader that the original link points to. It would be best to delete his links.

Did I call it or what?

I guess I wouldn't have been suspicious if they didn't try to sneak ati.com into the URL.

I thought the dev said the shadow is programmed like that. Nvidia and ATI has this jaggy shadow.

I'm just hoping this will fix the problems with the 9800 Pro card.
Will have to try later when I get home from work.

Has anyone else tried this new release with the 9800 pro card yet?
