hey peep's,how ya doing! i'm kinda new to the b.f.2 world and as of yet have not bought full game but have been playing(and stressing) about on the demo supplied by pc zone this month. everything is fine for single player shinanigans but as soon as i try to use it online for some unknown reason it just will not pick up on current servers???. gave the same demo to a friend to try and get him involved in the world of b.f.2 and he has had no probs getting it to pick up servers. we've tried to go online at the same time but only works his end. I've tried everything i can think of but now it's doing my nut. please someone help!!! my internet connection might be a prob but joint operations runs fine. :evil:

whats a showthread and what will this do in terms of helping with server probs. not familiar with this sort of link so wanted to know about it. does it contain additional options for server connectivity??

and no i am not using 56k connection. i have dsl with 1mb connection on wireless router using a 54mb/s usb adapter. don't know if this would be an issue. haven't offically set up a wireless network as such. just picks up internet signal from downstairs.
