Need some help with memory.

Well,

at the moment my specs are...

AMD 64 3000+ 939
ATI X700
DFI Lanparty UT Mobo
some crappy ass 512 ram made for p4 only

Anywayz, I need some suggestions, I know I may want to upgrade to 2 gigs of ram since bf2 is a big ram hogger, my question is what is some good ass ram (2 gigs) i can get for cheap, if anybody has the same exact setup as me other than the video card please post here, I need an answer before saturday cause I'm ordering before so I can get my parts early.

I preferably would want something from newegg.com since thats where I always buy.... my price range... It'd be best if it was under $259, but if anybody can get way cheaper than 120 bucks id be thankful

211 bucks but corsair is a good brand have had my gig for 2 years and its run perfectly since i put it in... 211 bucks is the cheapest i saw unless you want some no name brand of memory...

Buy a brand name and DON'T skimp on price.....you so get what you pay for with hardware........

Good ram and cheap shouldn't really be in the same sentence. For quality, low cost, stable memory you can go with Corsairs ValueSelect. If you have 4 DIMM slots go with 2 1gig (2x512) DDR kits. You can get these for about $200 total from Newegg. If you only have 2 or 3 DIMM slots go with what Riggs suggested. It's my understanding that 4x512 will run faster than 2x1G although I've yet to test this for myself and the performance difference may be negligable. If you're willing to spend more then check out OCZ's high end stuff, but we're talking close to 450-500 now.
