This is a good thread, but where does my laptop fit? would i be able to play BF2 on it?

AMD Turion 64 ML-28 processor
ATI Mobility Radeon x700 PCI / 128Mb VRAM
512Mb DDR RAM
100GB hard drive

ATI X 700 pro 256
Broadband connection
160 GB of HD space

I play with all the settings set to high, mostly with no problem...it's just that freakin' lag and the ubiquitous "There is a problem with your connection" GOD that drives me up the FK'n wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, this math is about right mine would be "Mid-high-high", there is no doubt I should settle for medium settings but I like to see shadows!

I posted two more CPUs, but I don't think I need to go any further. It's meant to be exhaustive; just a quick reference for at least some indication as to how BF2 should run for you and with what settings.

Great thread! but you missed the nvidia 6200, i have that and what could i expect?
