    Sorry if i posted in the wrong place.. but i need some help lol.. i have a agp motherboard and i need to find out what my processors chip number is, it could be 755(775?) or 438, and the reason i needed to know was because im buying a new mobo(pci-e) for the 7800gtx.. thanks in advance

    [EDIT] the current processor i have is a Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20 GHz

            is there a way to check what pin your memory cards are? like 184 pin??

              Well...if you have just standard DDR memory...then yes it will be 184-pin

                All SDRAM DDR DIMMs are 184pin.

                    DDR 2 is 240-pin i believe...since you are intel you can go with DDR 2 if you want

                      Not if he has DDR, I will assume he wants to keep his current RAM. I have DDR2, and honestly, it isn't that big of a difference. People think DDR2 is some great leap. It isn't. It just allows for higher clock speeds. DDR2 is up to like 800Mhz + already. I have 533 (I think) and its more then enough.
