    REFURBISHED Yes or No?

I Plan on ordering this from Newegg Linky However they have a Refurbished one for $151.20. If i were to get the refurbished one i could also order THIS. Should i have reservations about getting a refurbished card? Or should i ditch the cooler?

i got a refurb card once. It was as good as new.
Guess it depends on what company u get one from.?
Some refurbished cards dont come with the usual cords, drivers, and stuff that you would get with a brand new one..
get refurb cards off ebay from: http://www.ivexllc.us/

            Check www.frozencpu.com

They were a few bucks cheaper on my ATI Silencer, perhaps with your NV Silencer as well?

I use refurbs all the time and never once have I had an issue. I may be just one of the lucky few. You have to also keep in mind. You won't here much from those that don't have problems, only those that do. If the savings is minimal go new, if it's a great deal then try the refurb.

I bought my vid card last winter refurbished. I personally would never buy refurb vid cards but the vid card company (Gainward) wasn't shipping in the US anymore and there was no other way to get it. Anyways, the card came in brand new, just without the retail box, and it's one of the best 6800nu overclockers out there. So I'm happy with it but this doesn't mean all refurbs are like this.... but who knows.
