The X-Fi series is out in september - just wait one more month man.

It sounds like you should wait for it (could be a nice slogen for them).

Actually X-FI should be out at the end of this month. 20 times more powerful than the Audigy 4 and is proven to raise FPS in games like BF2 by almost 20%. The low end card will be $130 (I think).

I preordered mine.

Now I just have to scratch the "Fatality" nick off the card when I get it.

No offense to him, but hyping him is a bunch of ********. There are hundreds/thousands of people playing bf2 everyday that exhibit a level of skill equalling or exceeding his.

I am one of them, lol. :p

On the original topic, the audigy 4 is the best current card for bf2 with audigy 2zs closely following it. (not really any practical difference where bf2 is concerned)

I have a 2 zs and its a great card. BF2 has some awesome sounds. I cant wait to see if the xfi is worth the hype, or if I was gullable enough to be suckered by creative. Im usualy critical/skepticle when it comes to creative.

Most people who buy that damn card probably won't even know who he is. I actually didn't know who he was until now (looking at the link). Seems like he is an over-hyped guy. I wonder if anyone else went and won a bunch of CAL tournements if they would get there own labeling on a SoundBlaster card :laugh:

Johnathan is a human, much like the rest of us. Some times he is the windshield, sometimes he is the bug. Just like the rest of us. He is not "the perfect gamer".

I would rather buy the card without paying for the hype because ultimately the cost of that hype is passed on to the people who buy the card. Creative doesn't eat it.
