    joystic config

    please help.
    i currently have a SAITEK CYBORG 3D joystick and it wont config ,
    the buttons config ok but when i come to putting movement or accelaration or decelaration it wont read it, does any body have a solution 4 me please

    test joystick first under start setting control panel, game controllers..

            You have to make sure it saves it! BF2 has this odd problem with saving and retreiving binds. If nothing else, Saitek controllers come with binding software on the CD. Install that and bind the throttle to the appropriate key.

              it doesnt even recognize the throttle ,,
              what do u mean bind it...?
              im getting confused now..
              is this easier with the seitek cyborg evo ,does that install itself?

                It should install itself when you plug it into the USB. If not, run the software on the CD provided (which is probably a good idea anyways). On that CD there should be a profile program (aka a binding program). If BF2 still fails to recognize your joystick load this program up, and follow the instructions inside on how to bind the joystick to keys (basically it takes the throttle and make the computer think you're hitting "W" and "S" instead.)
