just purchased a nvidia 6800gt video card .what in game settings are you able to go high or is everybody still at medium with improved performance.just curious card due in next week.....

i dont have gt but i have a 6800 and im running everything on high except for lighting which is at medium. This runs flawlessly. No lagg EVER! Im sure that i can go higher, but i hate the optimizing stage so right now thats wut im using. -
I also have a vanilla 6800 and I run the game on the custom "high" settings except for dynamic shadows/light with 2x AA and the game runs flawlessly.Comment

i have the 5500 and im running the game custom, 2AA, few things on high, medium but only like 2 things on low... anyway to get it to run lighting on medium?Comment

Hmm, wouldnt it make more sence to have more high's on med and low's on med, balancing things out a little more. From reading the Tweak guide theres not much improvement between Med and High, but there is a great difference between Low and Med. For example shadows and light, these on low completly cancel out the shadows and well light.Originally posted by Dr1ft3r
I have effects on low anyway the only thing i notice from it being on Medium is little things like the bullet's leave marks in things. In big gun fights the effect option being on Med for lower end machines can cause shuddering.Comment
