        I would say a Athlon 3000+ is fine, you need atleast 1 gig of RAM, and as for video cards, well look at the requirements, although i would recomend the X800 or the 6800GT or better. But as King OF Khaos said you can spend an absolute fortune on a new system, although you can get one for under a grand (australian dollars) that plays on all high.

              Almost 4K for my dream machine, but 1/3 of that are things I only need to buy once or things that I only need to buy once every few builds, like the monitor, speakers, audio card, printer, and that kind of stuff.

                    you can always keep your HDs and cd-rom
                    It's not worth it to get a 6800 gt in pci express...

                    For $100 more you can find a 7800 gtx...
