6600GT 128mb or 6600 256mb?

I was wondering what's better?
the problem is that today (hopefully) im getting a 6600 256mb (well, in my country i couldnt find any geforce 6600GT ) so i was wondering what i'm going to miss with the non GT version of the GPU

The GT is vastly superior. The 6600 stock chip has 8 pixel pipelines but only 4 pixel output units; in pure fill rate terms, it appears as a 4 pipeline chip. The 6200 TC operates in a similar fashion, it's chip has 4 pixel pipelines and 2 pixel output units.
If you have the opportunity to cancel, do so. Then look for a 6800 stock (that's non GT/ultra), it has similar capabilties as the 6600GT but in higher resolutions the 6800 will perform due to the higher transfer speeds achievable by the memory bus.

yeah the problem is that the 6800 in my country is really really really expensive, u see..

the 6600 256mb its gonna cost me 400.000Bs and the cheaper 6800 i could find cost 1.420.000bs :| so, as u can see the difference is amazing!!!

and if my dear F**k**g president chavez (i hate that guy) let the regular venezuelan people to buy dollars at good price i could bought it from any site on internet with overseas shipping, but as u can imagine, i cant!!!

thank's man!!! well, i think its a huge step of getting the stock 6600 because, well.. i have a really crappy (but overclocked ) Fx5200 128mb :| hehe!!! im gonna miss that GPU!!!

Well in that a stock 6600 is a big upgrade compared to that.

ok i have the worst luck ever, i've been saving money since a long time (i had to pay my semesters, shooting class, etc etc) for this GPU, finally i got the money, i payed for the GPU last friday and in the recibt (sp?) say "MSI geforce FX6600 256mb AGP" (notice the word AAAAAGGGGGGGGPPPPP!!!!)anyways, the GPU arrived today, ok so im like super dupper happy until i see on the box a really huuuuuge big and bright PCI-EXPRESS, so im like WTF!!! i call to the store and they say it was a mistake that i can go to exchange the GPU for an AGP one... so i get on my bike and drive more than 50miles to the store and when i arrive there they say "oh we are so sorry man, we dont have AGP video cards at the moment"..... so, now i have to go there again tomorrow to see IF they can return my money, IF!!! im like really f..... MAD!!! i felt like a lil boy teased by a new toy and then destroyed in front of his eyes, u know? oh and my mobo its an agp of course but i dont have any money left to buy a freaking PCI-E mobo
