what settings?

ok i finally decided to get my comp and the graphics so i need help choosing resolution and stuff.

CPU:AMD 64 ATHLON 3200+ 2.2 GHZ
RAM:1 GIG
VIDEO:6800GT PCI

I also have a question. what is AA on bf2? i think its something like anti analsing but im prolly wrong.i also know to put almost everything on high but would ultra high give less fps?

Yep, Anit-Aliasing......i run mine @ 4x and all others on high.......

Eh you'd probly get 30-50 maxed out settings.

LOL. I wish. I have a better system than him and I get literally crap with maxed out. I have no clue why. It pisses me off.

Ok, you should hit ultra high (everything high, including lighting and all stuff), i hit ultra high with my X800XL which is pretty much the equivelent to the 6800GT. Plus i also go tthe same processor. I run the game at 30-60fps, depending on the situation.
