Resolution only goes to 1152*864

My graphics card is the Radeon x850 xt and BF2 only allows my resolution to go up to 1152 * 864. My friend has a 9600 xt and his can go all the way to the highest setting. Anybody know why my better card wont give me the resolution?

Most likely it is because his monitor supports it, and yours does not.

Did you alter the shortcut and force the resolution, or does it just flat out not work? You can achieve higher resolutions than what appears in the BF2 resolution drop down list in-game.
