HT Speed 2000Mhz = 2000 Front side bus?

In AMD 64 3500+ is it true that the Hyper transport is the FSB like you see in the P4's 800fsb?

It is supposed to be the equivelent yes. However most AMD chips don't go above 1.6Ghz or 1.8Ghz for the "built into chip" option.

Infact if you overclock a pentium4 so that the FSB is 1Ghz or above, it will smoke the AMD of equivelece out of the water.

For example. If you have an AMD 3400+ and I have my P4 3.4Ghz, you have approx. 2 times the Front Side Bus that I do. However, if I overclock my P4 to have the equivelent Front Side Bus, my P4 easily out preforms the AMD due to the clock speed difference (3.4Ghz vs 2.2Ghz).

My P4 3.4Ghz idels at 52*C. Under full load I hit 65*C and that is with the Freezer7 from Artic Cooling! Tomshardware tested coolers and came up with simular number, so the P4 just runs at extreme temperatures.

whats you cpu stats at? clock speed and fsb?

I dont think so. The P4EE Runs at 3.72Ghz and a FSB of 1066Mhz and it still doest beat the Athlon for games.
