Great Info on new dual core 3800+

great article very good results. just to sum it up it's a crazy good cpu very reasonable price (on the day of realease it will cost 354 and it will go down of course). It is much like the 3500+ with great OC'ing capabilities and the bonus is that it's dual core "menaing that you can multi-task" for example running xfire and BF@ without any problems.

yeah this seems to be the next super chip! i know i'm saving my pennies.. but i still have to decide to buy a new mobo to keep AGP or should i go hog wild and move into PCI hehe

I'm working for Intel right now, they had a demo on the new dual-core's last week. It's not like hyper threading, it's actually 2 Proc's in one case. During the demo they had a cpu with dual monitors. They were playing a dvd on one screen, playing doom on the other, and in the background they were running a virus scan. No performance hits what so ever.
