    VOIP issue...

    i just bought a headset... which has a voip function... and guess what.. the voip just cant work in bf2 voip... what is the problem?? what must i do...?? :cry:

    Make sure BF2 can see your headset and also make sure you have VOIP enabled in the sound options, don't forget to go into a server that has VOIP enabled because some don't.

      check to make sure your mic isn't muted in the control panel. Start>Control Panel>Sounds

              Start > Run > type "dxdiag".

              Go to the Audio settings tab, and slide the Acceleration from "Full" to "Basic".

                  I'm assuming of course the test for the microphone and stuff works.

                  To set it up, goto:

                  C:/Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2/

                  And run the "BF2VoiceSetup.exe"

                  Also it seems some servers have issues with VoIP not being properly setup, so it may or maynot work depending upon the server. So test out multiple servers.

                      It comes up when you install the game for the first time, after that it shouldn't come up again.

                          No it should work regaudless, what type of headset is it? USB or standard jacks?
