The only difference i noticed between the Asus' is that the premium supports AMD Athlon 64 and AMD Sempron, which the deluxe supports AMD Athlon 64 and AMD Athlon 64 FX.

Actually I believe that's a typo. The Sempron's are socket A processors and not supported by the A8N line. The difference is in the chipset. The Deluxe is the NVIDIA nForce4 SLI and the Premium is the NVIDIA nForce4 SLI MCP. I'm not sure what the benefit of the MCP chipset is, but I do like the A8N line and the Asus brand is superior to the Gigabyte boards.

Actually I'm wrong too. They're both the MCP chipset. I have no clue as to the difference. Either Asus board would be a wise choice.

I decided to get the Asus premium because it was only like $12 more at newegg than the deluxe. Also the heat cooling is alot more advanced than the deluxe's fan.

well i looked at the DFIs and saw most had only two PCI slots, still with the SLI, i kinda wanted more PCI slots

and thinking of foinf with the premium, but i dont know whats good, just aslong it can handle overclocking the cpu

                  Semprons are also Socket 754.

is is the ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe a better one? or how the premium, because if i get the deluxe ima change the fan of the chipset to maybe a better heatsink
