i was going to buy a video card but i only have 250-300 dollars. so i want a real good card but there are alot of cards within this price range but i dont know which 1 to get. i want 1 that has excellent quality and no lag.

i dont know if i have agp or watever. check this linkfuture comp i buy this week dont tell me to upgrade ram or something cuz i already know. i want they best video card for my price range.i dont care about tv out and all that crap. i just want a card that has good graphics.i was thinking about the x700 though unless the 6800 or the 6600 are better.

Aaaaahhhhhh!!!!! No e-machines for gaming. Seriously, I'd go with building you own.

Anyway the 6800GT (and to a lesser extent the 6600GT) is much better than the x700, that PC does not have AGP, so I would go for this.

ati's are being gay with bf2 so go with the nvidia i wish i could return my card now seriously that brings a tear to my eye, i paid that much for my agp card and coulda got pci i feel awful ima go throwup now :cry:

you should find a local pc store that sells pc stuff only. They are cheaper then going to mainstream stores. If not then, you gotta do what you gotta do right.
