nah u at least need a 480 or 500 watt power supply to work the 7800GTX just check the specs. actually its 400 watt but I'll see what i can come up with
Intel Pentium III (and above), AMD K7 (and above) or compatible with PCI Express slot
Minimum 128MB of system memory
Installation software requires CD-ROM drive
Interactive Program guide requires Internet connection for listing updates
Power supply of 400 (and up) watt is highly recommended for system stability
Minimum of a 450 Watt power supply
An available 6 pin PCI-E power connector
A minimum 400W system power supply (with 12V current rating of 26A or more)
A PCI Express compliant motherboard.
A vacant PCI Express slot adjacent the PCI Express x16 slot. This board occupies two slots: The x16 graphics slot and the one next to it
Two available hard disk drive power dongles (smaller floppy disk drive connector is not sufficient)
-or-
A PCI Express supplementary power connector
Note: For two GeForce 7800 GTX-based graphics cards running in NVIDIA SLI configurations, a minimum 500W system power supply (with 12V rating of 34A) is recommended. Visit www.slizone.com for more information

I have a friend who recently bought a SN25P and he runs a XFX 7800GTX fine with no problems. The only thing is that you have to remove a vent bracket that gets in the way of the card. But its nothing hard to do.

Get a 500W PSU
And add 1 large extra cooling fan to the back ( with LEDS if you want )
that would be a top system with it being cool inside!

Shuttles are known to be able to take a high end vid card with no problem. I know people using Shuttle AMD systems with just 350 watts (the high end one) or even the 250 watt one with a 6800-series or X8xx-series card fine. Just dont overclock =)
Can a 7800 GTX even fit? I would think it would be impossible due to its size...

If you want my opinion, I think you should get a mATX case. Take a look at the Aspire X-qpack for example. You can fit a normal size ATX PSU with a Lite-On DVD drive. The other but much more expensive alternative is a Silverstone SG01 which you can also fit a full size PSU in. I will be building a system in the qpack in a couple of months. I'm currently waiting for a few things to come out such as Creative's X-FI, Nvidia's G71s, and better 939 Micro ATX motherboards. Shuttle comes ready with an awesome mobo but I don't like buying barebones.Originally posted by FirePowerthe option is still there, juz that i'd prefer it was more portable.gonna giv it summore thought.

That's not true, in fact nvidia has a new power saving feature in the 7800 and it consumes less power than 6800s even. Plus, like I said, I have a friend who built a shuttle SN25P and he has 2 gigs of ram, 160gb hd, fx-55, 7800gtx and he has no issues running it. Although i do agree that its cutting it a little too close and that's why I'm building a SFF with a regular ATX psu.Originally posted by djstubbsThe 7800 GTX alone consumes around 275-300 watts...

just don't take a chance and just buy the Regualr Atx case and if u want u could upgrade n $hit like that. IMO don't take any chances because risks in the long run will cause u to spend money either way
