This Monitor Good?

Let me give you guys the basis of what's going on here. I have $588 exactly to spend (including shipping and handling). I need to buy a video card and a monitor. I have the video card chosen already (Sapphire Radeon x850XT 256MB PCI-E). Since that video card is so much, I can't get an LCD or a l33t sauce CRT. Therefore I was looking at this monitor (NEC AccuSync AS90 19"CRT). Do you guys think that monitor will do the job of a clear picture, nice anti-glare flat screen, good refresh rates?

Please, EVERYONE that knows a little or a lot about monitors, give me your feedback.

might want to check out refurb monitors... I got a refurb Viewsonic P95f+ that I love for $160.

First off, the graphics card maynot be worth it, if you're going to have a bottleneck. Post your system specs, and we can go from there. A good 17" LCD is around $200.

Probably does. What other PCI-E standard is there =P

We need the rest of your specs. A 17 LCD can be damn cheap (with decent response time too) under 300 nowdays if you look around. CRTs are better but LCDs are damn close enough, if the piggy bank didnt cry so much though XD

its a good choice, but I say keep looking around.

I have a Viewsonic VX724 it rules it has 4ms responce time all the feature the monitor you found has and was a little over £200.
