Thanks for the Advice but i have had geforces before and they were crap, i was thinking of getting a XFX 6600gt but it was like 50 quid more! and i dont have that, Ati graphics look better than Nvidia so im told?!

There is no difference, whoever told you that is a fanboy. Take it from me, as I own both types of cards, the 6600GT is the best mid-range card out there and the graphical differences are minimal between the two companies.
Also, if you need AGP the X700 series is NOT AGP, it is PCI-Express only!Comment

I've never heard of that company, and as far as ATI is concerned its PCI-Express. So that company obviously slapped the X700 chip onto an AGP card, which may effect it, because the architectures are different.
I still hold that the 6600GT is the best card out there, get an XFX 6600GT, and you'll be happy.Comment

If you need a great AGP card then I would suggest an x800 XL 256 MB. I used to have a 9600 Pro and with this new x800 the FPS quantity and quality is a phenominal jump forward.Comment
