My girl friend has an x 700 pro and runs great, I have a 9600 xt both are 256 mb. no problems, the x 700 is a great low budget card

Could someone post a pic using the x700, i was wondering which one to get a GeCube x700 AGP 256mb DDR2 Power Edition which is £82.99 thinks that about $132.78 or a Gecube x700 PRO AGP 128mb gDDR3 Performance Edition which is £89.99= $143.98, i was 'pondering' what is best 256mb ddr2 or 128 mb gddr3??????????????? please help, and give comments if possible about the two types

well the 128mb card is the pro edition and is faster but the other one is 256mb so what do you rather image quality or speed

Which one would you suggest, you have a pro, but it only runs on medium? My ATI 9600se runs that on medium? What is your x700pro? Many thanks

total bollucks, mines 128mb and i dont actually know as it was given to me card only but i think its a connect3d, i think it may do some high settings but i really cant be bothered to sit there and filter out the settings. But id rather have amaizing FPS than high quality and it playing like an old film.

And also im planning to put a 7800GTX in replace of the x700 and il be selling it on ebay so if you havnt bought one by the time i upgrade you can buy mine off me.

O yeh the most important thing! Is it AGP?

Not if he is replacing it with a 7800GTX, since that is PCI-Express only. Unless he is upgrading his entire system. And yes all X700 should have GDDR3 in them.

If you're going AGP though, get a 6600GT. Its the best mid-range card out there right now. You will see approx. a 20FPS or more jump with this card compared to your current 9600.
