My friends brother has one. It looks nice. He says that he wishes he hadent spent so much money on it. I agree you really dont need the 512Mb but It will last you a long time if you do have it,

Unreal Tournament 2007 he might need it. I dont see a need for a 512mb video card except bragging rights. You should benchmark that card and see what scores you get with it. Btw joe where in panama city you live? I live in PC as well.

RADEON X800 XL 512MB PCI Express is not worthy.... actually... many people said that ATI x850XT platinium 256MB is more worthy card... it is much more better than that card u said..

not really, it's only 376 bucks on newegg.com, and it's better than the X800XL 512mb, so that means that unlsess you ain't gonna buy a vid card for like 4-5 years, i wouldn't get a 512mb card.

512MB is not worth it right now. And to the guy who said UT2007 might need it, I doubt it.

Also 512 will be used in approx. 3-4 years, but by then the jumps in technology will blow everyones mind. Some of the things they have lined up are mind boggling. Stuff like optical transmissions, diamond studded CPUs, and architecture so fast and good it will make todays computers a joke. Dual cores is just the start my friends. Dual core CPUs, dual core sound, and dual core GPUs are starting to hit the market now (or in the near future), which means 2 times the power of everything today.

Oh yes, and I have X850XT PE, and I can vouche for it.

                              3.4Ghz P4
                              1GB DRR2-533
                              Audigy2 ZS
                              X850XT PE

All settings maxed, 6x AA. Screenshots:
