    Video Card Q, again

What is better, a stock ATi x850 XT PE or the Asus version?

      Absolutley nothing.

      ASUS - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121532

      ATi - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102554

As you can see, they are the exact same card. The only difference is probably what is bundled with the ASUS card, which has nothing to do with the hardware.

EDIT: on second glance, the ATi card is Crossfire ready, which means it will do SLI. The ASUS card won't, so if you want to do SLI, get the ATi OEM card.

The brand of the card shouldn't matter much as these guys have already said.... I'd go for the one with the best warranty as well, and the lowest price.

Shouldn't make much of a difference.

Well, the Asus is almost $100 more, but it comes with a sh!tload of software... It also says it upped shaders from 1,300 to 1,600 or something. I'm not worried about CrossFire, as I can never see needing 2 of these!!
