...but it has a bit of a twist to it. I'm on a Dell Dimension 2400 and most of y'all probably know that I'm stuck with just a regular PCI card (and a crappy comp). No AGP or PCI-e slots on here. Anyways, I've found a 128MB Radeon FX 5700LE and a 256MB 5200 and both are supposed to work fine for BF2. Now I'm wonderin' which one to get 'cause EA says on the box that the 5700 is supported, but the 5200 isn't. But then again the 5200 is a 256, twice as much as the 5700 and also bout 10 bux cheaper. What do y'all think?

And if anyone else is using a Dimension 2400 or 3000 please tell your specs and how your comp runs BF2. Thanks a ton y'al.

the 256mb doesnt matter, the 5200 is so damn slow that if you try to play games that require 256mb you'll get like... negative fps... the 5700 isn't too fast either, especially the PCI-version... if i were you i'd by a new computer..

I was in your situation 4 years ago when i was computer illiterate with a hewlett packshit with no AGP trying to play CS. It is a TOTAL WASTE to get a PCI video card for modern gaming. The least expensive best thing to do is replace 2 things, your motherboard and case. Then get an AGP video card. Trust me you will be just wasting money on that crappy PCI card and you wont be running BF2 at all because the PCI port sucks major ****, its not even meant for gaming. The best thing you can do it get a whole new computer.

O yeah and these days (actually for more than 5 year) Video RAM means completely crap when comparing cards. Its like asking a person what kindve computer he has and him saying "oh i have a fast one, it has 512 RAM". Think of that 5200 as a AMD XP1800 with 1gig ram and that 5700 as a amd XP2300 with 512 ram. Which one do you think will be actually faster?
