Hi Im new FPS, and I guess that makes me ne to BF2 also :)
Im a hardcore MMORPG player and abotu 2 weeks ago at EB games I asked "whats new and good", guy at the counter pointed out BF2..I questioned it and said "screw it" so I bnought it.
And OMG what a great game!
I once bought Unreal a while back, hate it, nothign worse then people jumping around in little areas whiel you try to hit them with a lazer gun...pathetic.
But BF2 is so real, and so amazing!
So hopefully I get better, I have made my first unlock! but Im so in the air about what to pick as my first unlock.
I tend to play so many proffesions I dont knwo what I would enjoy more..on small maps (city) I love the sniper, tho I have read so much bad on the M95.
I also float between Spec Ops, Anti-Tank, Assualt.
It really depends on the situation, If i see alot of enemy tanks in use, I switch up between spawns is usually my method, lots of infantry Spec Ops/Assualt.
I tend never to play "support" proffesions cause I feel Im to Noobish to be responsible for others Health, ammo, or repairs.
One thing..I cant fly..at all..well sorta..I can fly a heli only in 3rd person..which means I cant really shoot and fly. I tend to use the heli to move to CP's then jump out and parachute to were I need to be. Planes..no how no way..maybe its cause I dont have a joystick? Maybe some single player practice will help?
Im gettign beteer with the heli I think, can fly it to points and such..cant figure how to hover...so Im ok with the transport Heli, as long as my passengers jump out when they get were they want to be or they wanna shoot as i fly aroudn the feild, no landing, no hovering
